Ages Served: 4-5 years
Your child will gain independence while getting ready for the transition to kindergarten with a more organized environment. Our passionate teachers will partner with you during this special time making their “senior year” of preschool the best it can be. Thomas Learning Centers’ Pre-Kindergarten program prepares your child for that big developmental step to kindergarten. Through our challenging activities children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills they will need to be successful in kindergarten, school and life. Your child will be presented daily opportunities for listening, speaking and engaging with peers and teachers. Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides the stimulation and promotes the curiosity for our students to excel in Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science. Students are exposed to new and current concepts in an inquiring, cooperative and nurturing environment.
Your Pre-Kindergartener will experience a full day of exploration that will guide them to become a confident learner. Their day will consist of large group activities, as well as small group center-based activities that take place as rotations. We offer a well- balanced combination of teacher-led student-directed and independent learning opportunities. Concepts are taught using a theme-based model. The areas of language, math, science, art, practical life skills and dramatic play are addressed through weekly themes.
