Toddler Program
Ages Served: 12 - 30 months
When your child has learned to zoom around, they are busy discovering their world. Toddlers learn best in safe, loving places they can explore, in their own way. The activities for this age group are built around toddlers’ limitless curiosity and their natural desire to push boundaries. Our toddler rooms are safe, spacious and inviting for your child, a place that offers a diversity of age specific learning tools and social opportunities for all children. As children begin to walk and talk regularly, their curiosity drives them to explore. Our toddler program encourages children’s developing independence by helping them sharpen self-help skills such as the ability to feed themselves, relate to others, and make choices.
Potty training is a significant step for the older toddlers towards their self-identity and self-esteem. Therefore, our knowledgeable teachers will work with both child and parent(s) to create a consistent and positive experience for the child during this important developmental stage. We will help guide you and your child to identify the signs of potty-training readiness. Your toddler will be exposed to colors, shapes, numbers, letters, art sensory activities, song & dance, books, puzzles and many other developmental learning activities throughout their daily routine. The development of language and self-help skills are encouraged and promoted through creative play and complementary language development opportunities. Our Toddler program serves as a launch pad for little ones ready to make the step into Early Preschool! Prepared with a bag full of important skill sets and a need for a new challenge we send our Toddlers off to learn more in our Preschool program.
